This was our first joint run with the Morris Register; a great first run together – great people, a new and I hope lasting friendship between our two clubs, and last but not least, some very nice cars.

I am hoping we can do more runs together. The day was sunny and warm so we were grateful for the shade provided by the gum trees. I have never seen so many Minis in one spot; very early models to a couple of the more recent modern examples: 850s, Coopers, Cooper S, Mini K, Leyland Mini, and Mini Deluxe. I think every variant of the Mini was there and a couple of highly modified examples.

The Morris Register brought along a Morris 25 (a limousine in its time), a Mini Cooper and Morris 12. The Morris car club brought a Morris Minor Traveller, Morris Minor Tourer, and a Morris Oxford MO.

In attendance were: Ross and Bethany Jamieson, John and Amanda Habgood,  Peter and Lyn Cardwell, Jim McInroe, (all from the Morris Register) and Tony Cronin, Stephen Whitworth, Rob Quinn, and Tony Bullen (Morris Car Club of Victoria).
