Important Information for members that are VicRoads permit holders

In response to the need to maintain social isolation and distancing, club members with permits that need to be renewed, should follow the following three-step process. You will not be able to renew your permit at a VicRoads office.

  1. Send you renewal permit to Tim Christie (address below) together with a stamped self-addressed envelope enclosed so that Tim can return your renewal signed and stamped for you to present to VicRoads.

14 Riverbend Cres

Werribee Victoria 3030

  1. Once you receive your returned signed and stamped renewal permit from Tim, you will need to post your signed and stamped permit documents along with your logbook and a cheque or money order for the stated sum to VicRoads. Until further notice, club permit renewals can only be accepted via post to:

VicRoads

GPO Box 1644

MELBOURNE   VIC  3001

No over the counter service is being provided by VicRoads due to the Covid19 pandemic.

  1. Don’t leave this process to the last minute.

Make sure you allow enough time for the mail to be received by Tim and returned to you and for your mail to be received at VicRoads before the expiration of your permit.

Critically you should remember that a club permit will be cancelled if not renewed within 90 days of the expiry date.
