CLUB RUN REPORTS:
On behalf of all Morris Car Club Members we wish to thank our Former Club Captain Tony Bullen for pre planning outings as well as all previous outings. His dedication has been very much appreciated.
Can we then please go on to say Elaine, Joyce & Anne thoroughly enjoyed organising the finishing touches for the following outings.
We also wish to thank Rob Quinn for organising our very comprehensive maps to follow so we didn’t get lost as well as helping us collate our club run report.
Our group was small, consisting of Joe and Joyce Farsaci & Elaine, Scott and Penina Booker (Modern), Geoff Meehan (Morris Mini), Rob and Anne Quinn (Morris Minor Ute) we departed at 10am from the outbound BP servo at Calder Park.
Our route to Kilmore took us through Sunbury, Romsey, Lancefield, Broadford and finally Kilmore where we lunched at the “Trackside Restaurant” located at the Kilmore Racing Club, great tucker to be had, and free ice cream!!
A stop at Lancefield resulted in the ladies purchasing some rare home ware stuff and trinkets, as they are prone to doing, but it kept them happy!
Our return trip home was down the Hume Highway, a great day was enjoyed by all.
